CONGRATULATIONS to our IT Teacher Apprentice, Emma Bailey, who has passed her Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship with a Distinction!

Emma joined us as an apprentice in January last year. She says she is delighted to have achieved a Distinction and pleased that she is able to stay on at King’s Ely as an employee.

Emma said: “I’m overjoyed with the result of my apprenticeship as it’s more than I ever could have hoped for. Everyone at King’s Ely has been hugely supportive of both me and my progress throughout my time here, and I’ve received so many positive messages from people congratulating me for this new achievement.

“I was welcomed into the King’s family with open arms and felt myself grow in confidence due to the welcoming and accepting environment of the school. I’m very happy to be staying on at King’s and to be able to continue supporting staff and pupils with technology, and with my usual sense of humour which is sure to stay!

“What I love about King’s is the variety of work that I get to experience and the amount of different people I get to communicate with on a daily basis. Even in these difficult times, I never feel like I’m apart from my colleagues as I’m still being kept busy by the daily hustle of technology queries and support tickets! There’s never a dull day when I’m working for this school, and I’m glad that all of my hard work has paid off so I can continue to develop professionally in my career at King’s.”
