BARCHAM House in Soham – the beautiful home of Diana Barcham-Stevens – was where Ely Cathedral Girls’ Choir (ECGC) could be found on January 24th evening.

A capacity audience of around 80 people gathered in Diana’s music room to hear the girls sing music by contemporary composer, Richard Peat, as well as the Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten.

ECGC were accompanied by Anne Denholm, former harpist to the Prince of Wales, and our own Aaron Shilson on the piano (Mrs Barcham-Stevens’ music room had two Steinway grands for him to choose from!)

Congratulations to the girls for delivering what was a wonderful concert, and thank you to everyone who supported the event!
