AT Lunchtime Computer Club, our Year 7 King’s Ely Junior pupils have been programming Wonder Workshop Dash Robots with dance moves!

Their skills were put to the test this afternoon (February 10th) with the ‘Dash Dance Off’, to see which robots had the best dance routines and skills.

Year 7 Computing Club is supported by Daniel Everest, Head of Computing and Digital Innovation at King’s Ely Junior, but is run by students, Emilie, Isaac and Lotte. After half term, the children will be flying drones!

The range of clubs and activities on offer to pupils at King’s, both during and after school, is vast. Pre-Prep children enjoy things like Forest School, Musical Sparklers and Engineering Club; Junior children enjoy clubs like Archery, Pottery and Golf, and Senior pupils enjoy clubs like Clay Pigeon Shooting, History Café and Language Leaders. The choices are endless, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
