A socially-distanced baptism, confirmation and first communion was held at Ely Cathedral on October 17th for King’s Ely Junior pupil Christian-Peter Hiemstra to be baptised and confirmed, and King’s Ely Junior students, Rupert Clode and James Cowley, to be confirmed.
The service was presided by the Bishop of Ely, Rt Revd Stephen Conway, and the students were prepared by King’s Ely’s Chaplain, Revd Dr Ros Lane.
Dr Lane said: “I am delighted that Christian-Peter, Rupert, James and their families and friends were able to come together to celebrate this step in their journey of faith and act as signs of hope in our world today.”
