Best-selling children’s author, Ross Welford, had our King’s Ely Junior (KEJ) pupils enthralled with his mystical stories and scientific tricks!
Ross, who is a former journalist and television producer, had his first children’s book, ‘Time Travelling with a Hamster’, published in 2016.
During his visit to KEJ on June 19th, Ross worked with pupils in Years 3-6. He not only spoke to the children about what life is like being an author, but he also informed them of the many trials and tribulations authors can face before having their work published.
Ross shared lots of top writing tips with the children, he signed copies of his books, and he entertained them with several magic and scientific tricks, which he is renowned for incorporating into his writing.
