TO say that King’s Ely Acremont Nursery and Pre-Prep’s chicks are tame would be a slight understatement.
As you can imagine, the chicks, hatched from eggs and in incubators provided by The Happy Chick Company, have been the centre of attention since pipping their way out on March 8th – both with our children and staff.
They’ve got names (and some quirky ones at that!), they’ve been flapping up and down assault courses made by the children, and they’ve been a fantastic way to really bring the children’s learning to life as we celebrate the countdown to Easter.
We are delighted to say that all of the chicks have new homes lined up for when they leave the Acremont Hatchery, but my goodness they are going to be missed!
