OVER 60 talented young musicians from King’s Ely will be performing in a special concert to raise money for two important charities on Friday November 13.

The Charity Concert will feature many of the school’s ensembles, including the King’s Ely Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Band, String Orchestra and the King’s Ely Barbers. All money raised will be split between Ely Community Service Committee and UNICEF.

Director of Music, Jonathan Kingston, said: “This is always a key event in our performing arts calendar and it is a splendid platform for our orchestras, bands and ensembles. The pupils involved are delighted to know that their high-level music-making will be raising funds for both UNICEF and Ely Community Service Committee. It promises to be an exciting evening.”

Tickets are £8 for adults, £6 for concessions and free for children, and can be purchased by contacting music@kingsely.org or calling 01353 65393101353 653931.
