CALLING all primary and secondary schools in Cambridgeshire!
Our French Department is hosting an exciting ‘French Reading Out Loud Competition’ – Concours d’éloquence en français – in January 2022, and we would love as many local state and independent schools as possible to get involved.
The aim of the competition is:
• To focus on the importance of pronunciation and delivery
• To help students feel more confident about their ability in a foreign language
• To instil an interest in literature from a young age
• To broaden cultural exposure
Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students are able to participate, and thanks to funding from the ISMLA (Independent Schools’ Modern Languages Association), some exciting prizes will be up for grabs!
