MEMBERS of our wonderful cellist group – King’s Ely Spikes – were delighted to perform at a party in the Bishop of Ely’s garden before the end of term.

The event was a traditional afternoon tea party, organised by the Ely Community Lunches, a charity which was launched in 2021 to provide occasional celebratory meals for people in and around Ely.

Nikki Porter-Thaw, who leads King’s Ely Spikes, and members Elizabeth Newman, Anna Ost and Maxime Prince, performed a variety of songs. The following day they headed over to King’s Ely Acremont to entertain families at our Pre-Prep End of Year Garden Party!
