KING’S Ely Junior pupil, Cate Kerr, was victorious at Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) over the weekend.
Cate, who is in Year 8, won the 128cm Championships with her beloved pony, Dunbarover IV, for the second year running.
Although a rider named Sienna Charles won the same class in 2013 and 2014, Cate, who is from the Newmarket area, has made HOYS history by winning the class in successive years on the same pony!
Cate and Dunbarover IV impressed the crowds at the NEC Birmingham on October 9th by posting a time of just 34.47 seconds.
