“My daughter joined King’s Ely Senior in Year 10 from overseas – a challenging move by any standards and particularly so after she expressed a personal affiliation with the LGBTQ+ community.
“To move countries, schools and systems not just during a pandemic, but during formative years of personal development, could have been very difficult. King’s has been nothing short of wonderful in their inclusivity, acceptance, nurturing and encouragement to my daughter.
“I have seen her blossom into a confident, self-expressed and accepted 15 year old in her year group. She has thrown herself into the King’s Unity group, found a supportive community and as a parent, I have been impressed by the kind and personal interest in her growth and welfare, by the responsible members of staff.”
