“Our daughter, Lucy, joined King’s Ely Junior in Year 3 and is now in the Sixth Form in Year 12. Lucy is a member of the Concert Band, where she plays the drums and has performed with the school Orchestra for Drama productions. She has also been involved as part of the stage management team.
“Lucy is also an Ely Scheme Instructor. She has now completed her Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards with the school and is currently well on the way to completing her Gold. And all this, while achieving a high academic standard.
“Our son, Henry, also attended King’s Ely. He joined in Year 7 and continued through to the Sixth Form. Henry was involved with Rowing and held a key position in Drama Technology for the sound and lighting. He left King’s Ely with excellent A Level results and is now currently in his final year at University with a job offer on completion.
“Both Henry and Lucy have excelled at King’s Ely and we strongly believe that this is due to the wonderful guidance and support they have received for both academic and all extra-curricular activities, with special mention to the help in preparation for University, which has been invaluable.
“They have been encouraged to grow and mature to their own specific strengths, and gain confidence in themselves. In summary, there are so many opportunities on offer at King’s Ely that we could not have wished for a better all-round school for our children to grow and flourish under excellent and friendly leadership.”
