“WE first joined King’s Ely in 2005 with Felix entering Reception. Our daughter, Tessa, joined two years later.

“What we have found to be most important is the care and support from staff. Each child is an individual and their strengths have been nurtured and encouraged. The House system also brings a sense of community to the school where pupils know each other from all ages.

“As a shy, quiet boy, Felix always wanted to wear one of the red gowns. Now, as he is about to leave Sixth Form, he wears his Scholar’s gown with pride and, as Head Boy, he prepares to make his final speech in front of a packed Cathedral. He is equally proud of becoming captain of the school Swimming Team.

“Tessa, a confident girl, has taken every opportunity she can. Over the years she has been in the Hockey, Netball and Cricket teams, sung in the Junior Choir, played cello, chess, debated, and played a memorable Bill Sykes in ‘Oliver’. We are excited to see what she achieves as she enters Sixth Form.

“Whether it is singing in the majestic Cathedral or being taught in historic buildings, King’s Ely is a wonderful setting for any young student to thrive and learn.”
