OUR Year 10-13 Rowers were on great form at the British Rowing Junior Championships at Holme Pierrepont National Watersports Centre over the weekend!

The Boys J18 Double of Will Buckingham and Conall Comley produced a stunning performance in gruelling heat to secure a Bronze Medal in what was a very competitive national category.

The Girls Double of Mia Gray and Holly Burke performed very well, finishing 5th in the C Final – and in what was sadly Holly’s final race for King’s.

The two Girls Singles of Annie Moore and Stephanie Watson produced strong rows to gain a F Final, with Annie winning against some powerful scullers.

Our Year 10 and 11 Rowers raced on the Friday and Saturday, respectively, gaining crucial experience at national level with some great results, including 10th for the J15 Boys Quad of Thomas Kirkpatrick, Alex Keene, Raphael Bisson, Joseph Dickinson and Tamim Rezek.

The Year 10 girls rowed very well in the quad finishing 4th in the E Final – well done Isobel Holland, Heather Norris, Elizabeth Boutwood, Mollie Chamberlain and Sophie Haydn-Slater.
