IT was s-s-s-s-s-s-super to welcome ‘Blinky’ the Carolina corn snake to King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep on January 25th.

Our Reception children are currently learning about different animals across the globe, including lots of fascinating facts about their diets, survival skills and habitats.

We considered trying to get a polar bear, tiger or camel along to Acremont House, but when Reception pupil, George, and his mummy, Lizzie, who many of you will know as both a parent and member of King’s Ely staff, offered for Blinky to meet the children, it was an offer we couldn’t refuse.

Blinky has been a much-loved member of their family for more than 10 years and was so well-mannered with the children!
