DO you remember in August King’s Ely Senior students, Ivana Peat and Francesca Stevens, were victorious in Norwich University of the Arts’ Beyond the Frame photography competition?
Their success was announced during the summer holidays, which meant we were unable to take photographs of the Year 11 duo with their winning images until we were all back in school.
Ivana won the age 11-15 category of the competition and Francesca won the Judge’s Choice Award, chosen by Cherie Carman.
More than 250 photography students from across the UK entered the contest, and Antonio Longo, our Head of Photography, says he is over the moon that five of his pupils had their images shortlisted – Francesca, Ivana (two images), Miles Hewlett (two images), Dominic Illsley and Lucas Edevane.
