In which year group did you join King’s?

I joined King’s Ely Nursery in 2008.

What A-Level grades did you achieve?

I got four A*s in Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and Further Maths.

What University/Institution are you going to and what will you be studying?

I am going to Peterhouse, Cambridge to study Medicine.

Are you going to University this year, or are you taking a gap year?

I am going to University later this year.

What career path do you plan on pursuing?

I hope to become a doctor, working in either A&E or surgery.

What else did you participate in during your time at King’s?

I participated in a lot of Ely Scheme activities throughout my time in Senior School, ranging from climbing trips in Years 9 and 10, to becoming a Pupil Instructor who instructed every term for three years. Most recently, I had the opportunity to go on the hiking trip to Morocco where a group of us summited Mount Toubkal. I played in the Golf Team as well, which was a great opportunity to play some really nice courses and go on fun trips away from school. I was also a King’s Scholar.

Do you feel that you have been well supported at King’s?

I was definitely well supported at King’s. There were always teachers to turn to who could help with a topic you were struggling on, or help give you a push in the right direction when tests did not necessarily go how you were expecting.

What will you miss most about King’s and what did you enjoy most during your time here?

I will miss the people most. Whether it be the friendly, supportive teachers or my friends who I have known for years, it will definitely feel like the end of the first chapter of my life, but hopefully paves the way for a new one to start.

In what ways do you think King’s is unique or special compared to other schools?

King’s definitely provides and actively supports extra-curricular activities far greater than other schools that I know.
