Our Anti-Bullying Week celebrations got off to a hugely socks-essful start!

Yesterday (November 13th), was Odd Socks Day, which is the annual national campaign organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance as part of Anti-Bullying Week (November 13th-17th).

Spotty, stripy, sparkly, fluffy, frilly, long, short – you name it, they wore it – especially at Nursery, Acremont Pre-Prep, and Prep. It was not just pupils who got into the Odd Socks Day spirit either – lots of staff donned their wackiest odd socks too!

The theme of Anti-Bullying Week this year is ‘Make A Noise About Bullying’, with a focus on the differences between ‘banter’ and ‘bullying’. At Acremont Pre-Prep, the importance of speaking up about bullying and being kind to one another was the theme of yesterday’s ‘Big Idea Assembly’, and at Prep, this theme will be the focus of PSHE lessons for all year groups throughout the week.

We look forward to sharing more of our Anti-Bullying Week events and activities with you over the coming days!
