KING’S Ely Acremont Pre-Prep’s School Councillors for the Michaelmas Term have been announced!
Mrs Lever’s office was transformed into a Polling Station in order for our Reception-Year 2 children to cast their votes.
Mrs Walker, Reception Teacher and Acremont’s School Council Coordinator, said: “The children have been flooding through the door with wonderful manifestos, some sparkly and full of colour, others beautifully written or full of photographs. I have seen some brilliant ideas and election pledges for what I think will be a very eye-opening term.
“A huge thank you to everyone who made a manifesto. Even if you were not successful this term, you all worked incredibly hard and you should be very proud of yourselves. Election Day went without a hitch and I was so impressed with all the classes for their sensible and careful voting. Even though it was Reception’s first election, they did a marvellous job; it was as if they had been doing it for years.
