“THE older children demonstrated their huge commitment towards our community’s fundraising efforts during the two triathlons this afternoon. Their enjoyment and competitive spirits were evident throughout and we were most impressed by their eager participation. Monday will see our Year 3 and 4 students showing us their enthusiasm when they complete their event. What a spectacle today’s competitions were and thank you for the support with bike ferrying, sponsoring and your willingness to attend and cheer the competitors along today! No doubt our youngest competitors will throw themselves into their event with good cheer and huge energy come Monday!

Our Years 5 and 6 pupils who took part in this afternoon’s charity triathlon at King’s Ely Junior!

“In the meantime, following four very busy and eventful weeks to start our new school year, we have an exeat weekend this weekend, which offers a slower paced couple of days for all the children. We look forward to the next few weeks, running through to half term, with the rhythm of learning and our expectations embedded.

“Congratulations to all the new joiners for making such a splendid start and also to those who have moved up and adjusted to new expectations and challenges of the next year at King’s.

“Best wishes for a restful weekend.”
