“A MOMENTOUS week comes to a close today with a collective sigh of relief thanks to the school having reunited and regained a semblance of normality over the last few days. The children have found the adjustment to on-site learning quite exhausting but the pulse of the school is beating at a good rhythm already. We are very much looking forward to the next two weeks of school and more of our normal activities featuring.

“Year 7 and 8 day children have been sent home with their two boxes of home test kits and a pamphlet of instructions this afternoon. We hope that the testing process will be familiar to them all, having now been tested three times in a similar way here at school. We were very impressed with the way they approached the testing regime and thank you for the doubtless encouragement on offer at home. For younger children and family members, testing kits are available to you via the links sent to you in the letter from Louise King this week.

“We look forward to a second week of on-site lessons starting on Monday, when we will be continuing to review, restore and reignite the children’s positive engagement with learning in the classroom. In the meantime we wish you a healthy and calm weekend.”
