KING’S Ely Sixth Form leaver, Charlie Boyle, will be studying a Degree Apprenticeship with Bidwells and the University of Westminster after achieving the A Level results he needed.

Charlie, 18, achieved an A* in Photography, an A in Business Studies and a B in Psychology.

Charlie, who joined King’s Ely Junior in Year 7, will be studying a joint Degree Apprenticeship in Project Management. He said: “I am really interested in the property industry and hope to work my way up through my apprenticeship.”

Charlie has been a popular member of our outdoor education programme, Ely Scheme, and was a Pupil Instructor, helping to show younger pupils the ropes. He also played in the 1st Rugby Team and 2nd Football Team.

When asked what he will miss most about King’s, Charlie said: “I will miss lots, but especially the sport as it was always great fun. I will miss the socials that Mrs Halls and the Sixth Form Team organise and my Tutor, Mr Quinn, as he always started my day off positively and supported me, especially with my personal statement and with any hurdles that I came across with my subjects.”

Charlie added: “I have felt very well supported throughout my time at King’s. All of my teachers offered support sessions where I could come in and go over any material when I needed to, which helped me massively to improve my grades.”

Congratulations Charlie, good luck at Bidwells/Westminster and keep in touch!
