AMELIA Cardwell from award-winning theatre company, Frantic Assembly, visited King’s Ely on January 14th to work with some of our A Level Drama and Theatre students, as well as pupils from Stephen Perse Foundation.

Nick Huntington, Director of Drama and Theatre at King’s Ely, said: “Frantic Assembly fuse physical theatre with emotionally-charged realism to create energetic and visually stunning theatre, including ‘Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’, ‘The Unreturning’ and ‘Things I Know To Be True’.

“Our Year 12 students were joined by a group of A Level students from Stephen Perse Foundation and were put through four hours of intense physical work. The pupils created some incredible sequences and by the end of the workshop they were able to do lots of lifts, fly and even walk on walls!”
