THE results of the King’s Ely Summer Term Reading Challenge are in!

The challenge was organised by the English Department and the school Library Team and it encouraged both students and staff to read as many books as possible between early April and mid June.

The results are:

Silver (1,000-3,000 pages read)

Freja Barnham: 1,012 pages
Eleanor MacGillivray: 1,629 pages
Sam Barber: 2,876 pages

Gold (above 3,000 pages read)

Charles Turnbull-Hall: 3,117 pages
Tabitha Udy: 3,386 pages
Isabel Mitchell: 3,770 pages
Richard Garrard: 3,853 pages
Matthew Danes: 7,489 pages

The Staff Winner was Mrs Jackson, who read 4,375 pages.
