Kerry will be studying an Art and Design Foundation course at Loughborough University after achieving the A-Level grades she needed.
Kerry joined King's Ely Sixth Form from another local independent school. She studied Textiles, Fine Art, and Product Design at A-Level.
When asked what she plans to do career wise, Kerry said: "I hope that my one-year foundation course will help me to decide on a specific route to go down, but at the moment, some sort of Textiles career is what I am planning on pursuing."
To describe King's in three words, Kerry chose "fun, supportive, motivating".
When asked what the teaching and learning environment is like at King's, Kerry said: "Being dyslexic, my approach to learning, understanding, and processing is different to most. However, all of my teachers really understood how I learn and grow, which I will be forever grateful for. I had great relationships with my teachers and they were there to help and support me whenever I needed it."
Kerry enjoyed Rowing and Netball during her two years at King's. She said: "The Rowing and Netball were both amazing, and the friendships that I built through both Sports were great."
When asked what she will miss most about Kings, Kerry said: "I will miss the teachers, the Sport, Rowing on the river, and just how beautiful the school is. I love the Cathedral and how involved the school is with Ely itself. The school's buildings, architecture, and amount of green space really is unique."
Congratulations Kerry - enjoy Loughborough and keep in touch!
