Another King’s Ely tradition which is as popular as ever is ‘Year 13 Brick Carving’!

Every Summer Term, our Sixth Form leavers are invited to carve their name and leaving date on a brick in the area around the Senior Day Houses and Science Block.

This has happened for as long as we can remember, and when Old Eleans return to King’s for an event, to catch up with staff, or even for a tour as a prospective parent, they are always eager to point out their brick.

Three brick carving sessions were organised last week, and these photos were taken during the one on May 25th.
