“Our son, Asher, has just stepped into Year 7 at King's Ely Prep having commenced, in what feels only a moment ago, in Reception at King's Ely Acremont Pre-Prep.

"We spent a considerable amount of time researching schools for Asher, and as each school year ends and another begins, we feel, with certainty, that we made the right choice.

"As parents of a young 4-year-old starting out on his educational journey, we did not know what subjects or co-curricular activities Asher would like, but we did feel confident that King's would provide him with a wide range of experiences, offer him diverse opportunities, and support him to find his own special area to find enjoyment in, all whilst delivering a high standard of academic teaching.

"We will always be grateful for the wonderful experiences that the outstanding team at Acremont Pre-Prep provided, and for giving Asher the best of foundations on which to build via King's Ely Prep. It transpired that Mathematics and playing Music are Asher's sources of joy; the taster sessions at Acremont having provided exposure to a range of instruments.

"At King's Ely Prep, Asher's musical journey continues to build and bring him (and us) utter joy. The Visiting Music Teachers provide expert and friendly tuition, and the Head of Performance Music provides an outstanding level of enthusiasm and opportunities. Co-curricular activities offered via school are of both excellent quality and wide in range. Through the topics on offer, Asher has been able to find a Sport he enjoys and can build skills in, further develop his computing skills, and have a great deal of fun whilst learning.

"From an academic perspective, King's Ely Prep offers a team of dedicated teaching staff who are not only superb teachers but who are welcoming, kind, and supportive. We feel able to reach out with queries and confident that time will always be found to meet if needed. As each year group has grown in number, we have always been pleased to see that each child is always still known by the staff; not only in name, but in a deeper, more meaningful way. We know that we have met teachers who have touched Asher's life (and ours) in a way that will always be remembered.
