Library Graduate Trainee
King’s Ely is seeking to appoint a Graduate Library Trainee who wishes to gain practical library experience for one year (term-time only). It would suit a graduate, or someone interested in a career in librarianship, who is intending to undertake a postgraduate library/information course.
You will be based in the senior school library, and work alongside the current librarian, to deliver a friendly, high-quality service to both pupils and staff at this long-established independent school. You will be expected to carry out general library duties: including shelving, processing resources, circulation, enquiries and library supervision and you will also have the opportunity to help develop library provision and enhance information literacy across the school (from nursery to Sixth Form) as appropriate to your individual skills and interests. Some evening and Saturday working will be required and there will be opportunities to contribute to the wider life of the school.
The school uses the Softlink Oliver library management system and subscribes to a wide range of digital resources, including an ebook platform.

The successful applicant will assist with the teaching of both PE and Games from Year 1 to Year 13. This one academic year fixed contract would represent an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience before following a career in teaching or sports coaching.

Part time Nursery Practitioner
We seek a Nursery Practitioner with a minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent to join our exceptional team.
