KING’S Ely Junior pupils won a haul of medals at the first weekend of the Cambridgeshire County Swimming Championships.
Thomas, Ben, Sydney, Robert, Kendle, Daniel and Nia all competed in the Championships, which were held at Whittlesey Manor Leisure Centre on January 13th and 14th.
The Championships saw the region’s most talented young swimmers battling it out in the water and the magnificent seven from King’s Ely Junior returned with a haul of medals and personal bests.
As with all the competitors, the students’ aim is to not only beat their personal bests but to qualify for the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) National Swimming Finals. Good luck over the coming weeks and months!
