YEAR 1 pupils had a wonderful time making sculptures to create a Nativity scene this week.
Parent Lorraine Broadbent assisted teachers in devising a series of lessons, based on designing and creating three dimensional figures. The children chose their characters and worked in
small teams to create mood boards.
Head Lynda Brereton commented: “This project gave the children a chance to learn new design and technology skills. The pupils loved working with chicken wire, papier mâche, paint and fabrics, and were very proud of their finished models.”
