Sponge-the-teacher, Santa hats, candyfloss machines, live music and enough handmade Christmas cards, decorations and novelties to bedeck the whole of Ely… It could only be King’s Ely Senior’s Winter Fayre!

The festive extravaganza took place during lunch-break on December 14th and in true King’s fashion, our Day and Boarding House students and staff went all out to not only host appealing stalls and fun attractions, but to also raise as much money as possible for charity.

We are delighted to say that the event raised more than £1,400 in total – the majority of which will go towards the children we support as a school in East Africa, through the Hope4Malawi charity.
