Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils for achieving Distinctions in their Trinity College London Grade 2 Performance Arts Exams!

An examiner from Trinity College London visited King’s Ely Prep towards the end of last term to assess all four of our Year 6 classes, the majority of whom are pictured.

Each group had to showcase at least three performance skills, which included a scene from a play, a choral speaking poem, and a piece of musical theatre.

We are delighted to confirm that each class achieved a Distinction!

Comments from the examiner included: “The song was highly expressive, with wonderful intensification of movement, gestures, and facial expressions to share mood and meaning with ease”, and: “Characters are strong and performed with colour and joy.”

Bravo to the following Prep students who took individual Trinity College London exams last term too:

Tom Woodman – Grade 2, Speech and Drama – Merit
Aria Keenan – Grade 3, Speech and Drama – Distinction
Lucas Guyer – Grade 3, Acting – Distinction
