YOUNG musicians will première a movie theme at the King’s Ely Spring Concert this Friday (May 4), which is to feature classic sounds from the silver screen.

The Hayward Theatre will be transformed into a cinema for the production of Frame by Frame, where all of the school’s ensembles will perform an eclectic array of movie soundtracks and theme tunes – from Mancini’s Pink Panther to the Grease medley.

To maximise the cinematic experience, the entire production will be supported by film footage and screen shots. Guests will also be shown to their seats by torch light, and lollipops, popcorn and ice cream will be on sale during the interval.

The event takes place at the Hayward Theatre at 7.30pm on Friday May 4. Tickets cost £8 for Adults, £6 for Concessions and are free for children under 18.
