A team of our A Level Historians delivered February’s History Café discussion with superb energy and professionalism.

Sixth Form students, Eloise Suiter, Alice Wallace, Elliot Dickson, Alexandra Marshall and PiaoPiao Li, each researched a woman or group of women who they feel have made a significant impact on history. They then presented their findings to pupils and staff. Their talks were about Sappho, Hypatia, Millicent Fawcett, Nancy Astor, and the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA) Girls.

Colin Currie, Head of History at King’s Ely Senior, said: “All five talks were very informative and skilfully delivered. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the whole presentation.”

History Café is a shining example of our broad co-curricular programme here at King’s. It is for Senior students who have a passion for History and who want to explore the subject at every opportunity.
