Yesterday (February 20th) was a memorable day for King’s Ely Rowing!

Our Boat Club had four Octuple sculls out on the water together for Year 9 Rowing Training – and for the first time ever.

Did you know that Rowing is available to our students from Year 8? The sport is hugely popular here at King’s – not surprising given that our Boat Club is within walking distance from school, and that we train on the same area of the River Great Ouse as Cambridge University Boat Club. This uninterrupted stretch of water runs for over 15 miles in each direction, including a 5 kilometre straight, making it the perfect place to train.
