We had a brilliant time welcoming a group of overseas educational agents to King’s Ely yesterday (Monday, April 24th).
Our friends from EduExcellence, Be International, Intergreat Education Group, DonStream Education Group, Johnny English, and Best Start Education arrived in Ely on Sunday afternoon for our 24-hour ‘Familiarisation (FAM) Event’.
Representing Ukraine, China, Vietnam, India and Russia, our visitors enjoyed tours of the school’s 75-acre campus, and presentations by our Principal, John Attwater, and other Senior Leadership Team members.
The agents were able to meet students and staff, explore our boarding houses, enjoy Evensong at Ely Cathedral, and take a tour up the Cathedral’s Octagon Tower.
Billy Logan, Head of Catering, and his team organised a splendid buffet lunch for our guests, and Director of Music, Neil Porter-Thaw, was in his element hosting a fun steel drum musicmaking workshop with the agents, complete with colourful garlands!
The FAM Event was organised by our Admissions and Marketing Team, who work closely with educational agents from all corners of the globe. With more than 40 nationalities represented at King’s Ely, our students enjoy their schooldays in the company of friends from a range of different cultures and backgrounds.
