A group of King’s Ely students demonstrated a true understanding of the Christmas spirit as they organised a collection of festive goodies for the Ely Foodbank.

They all hope that the 25 kilos of festive food and Christmas treats they have collected will help to make Christmas happier for a lot of families.

Head of English, Frank Danes, who helped to organise the collection, said: “Our students care deeply about the plight of others and want to do what they can to help. We are very proud of their efforts”.
