Co-curricular activities are important to your development in the Sixth Form and an outlet for the skills and aptitudes that enhance life. In addition to the major sports, including rowing, a vast range of activities is available to Sixth Form students. We have sailing, golf, martial arts, writing for the school newspaper, community service, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and, of course, Ely Scheme – to name but a few.

The Music and Performing Arts departments offer many co-curricular activities, including choirs, bands, orchestras, plays and musicals. Performances need support, and students are also responsible for lighting, sound, stage design and front-of-house. Many cultural and sporting trips and outward-bound expeditions take place throughout the year, including during the school holidays. These can provide once-in-a-lifetime chances that will live in the memory long after you have left school – who could forget winter climbing in the High Atlas, singing in Malta or playing cricket in Sri Lanka?
