We are an outward looking school and we seek enriching opportunities both near and far to inspire the children and to develop their confidence in facing challenges and new situations. We offer a number of educational trips, overnight residential stays, and longer overseas tours.
Curriculum subjects are supported throughout the year by day trips that augment the children’s learning. These trips prove a springboard for ideas and engagement back in the classroom. From Year 4 upwards, trips are organised that provide a residential experience, whether it be a night away on the Golden Hinde for our eight year olds, a ski trip to Switzerland for our older pupils, or perhaps a musical or sports tour in the school holidays.
At a time when many children have been denied opportunities to travel together or to have exciting experiences provided by schools, we embrace the world beyond our doors with a spirit of adventure.
