The integrated Learning Centre at King’s Ely Prep aims to apply the school’s philosophy of bringing out the potential of every pupil by encouraging high expectations and strong self-esteem and by meeting a range of individual needs.
The Learning Centre team of four full-time staff works closely with classroom teachers and subject specialists, providing both support and advice to ensure the majority of pupils’ needs will be met in the classroom through high-quality, differentiated teaching.
For a minority of our pupils who may have a higher level of need, specialist teachers provide additional, tailored support, delivered through short-term individual and small group work.
The regular drop-in sessions and readily available advice from the Learning Centre at King’s Ely Prep means that pupils are supported effectively and in a multitude of ways to suit their needs.
