SEVENTEEN year-old Chun-Yu Lin was gowned as an International Scholar at a ceremony in Ely Cathedral this morning (28 November).
The honour acknowledges his impressive results in exams which he sat in the summer at the end of only one year’s study at King’s International.
He took IGCSEs in seven subjects, achieving three A* passes, two As and two Bs.
On the strength of his results he was offered a place in King’s Sixth Form and is taking AS-levels in Chemistry, Biology, Further Maths and Business Studies.
Chun-Yu Lin, whose family comes from Taiwan, is a boarder in School House.
