THERE was pedal power in abundance during King’s Ely Junior’s Bikeability Week.

Outspoken, based in Cambridge, visited the school to run an action-packed programme of cycling activities with Year 5 pupils. The Outspoken team works in schools throughout the Eastern region delivering high quality Bikeability teaching and ensuring that the next generation of cyclists grow up to love cycling for fun, fitness and just getting about.

Head of Years 5 and 6 at King’s Ely Junior, Nicki Sivier, said: “The students all focused well, coordinated constantly and coped well with the added hazard of cycling in the rain. It was certainly a fun-packed week and we would like to say a big thank you to the Outspoken team for their expertise.”
