JUNIOR’S Eleanor Fairey (12) has successfully qualified her working hunter pony for the Royal International Horse Show, which takes place at Hickstead in July.

The Longines Royal International Horse Show sees the elite of many equestrian disciplines compete side by side. It is exclusively a championship show and is the culmination of many months of qualifications with a host of prestigious classes for every breed of British horse and pony.

As well as success with her working hunter pony, Keltic Print, Eleanor also qualified with her champion show hunter pony, Stambrook Wedding Belle, which was crowned Show Hunter Pony of the Year at the Horse of the Year Show 2012.

Head of King’s Ely Junior, Richard Whymark, said: “This is a splendid result for Eleanor and we wish her the best of luck for Hickstead.”
