Easter Stayover 2023 complete!
The Choristers of Ely Cathedral Choir have sung more than 30 pieces of music at this year’s Ely Cathedral Easter services and events – and that was not including psalms, hymns, or descant.
It is understandably a demanding time for the Choristers, and full-on for the King’s Ely and Cathedral staff who look after them, but so much fun has been had and so many wonderful memories have been made.
Non-singing stayover highlights have included movie nights, an Easter Egg Hunt in The Dean’s Garden, walks by the river, visits to Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge, baking, games of chess and table tennis, fun at Ely’s Pocket Park, and a ridiculous amount of hot cross buns and cakes!
