Many of you have been asking how our guinea pigs, Colin and Martin, are doing and we can confirm that they are thriving!
The cheeky cavies have lived at King’s Ely Acremont Nursery since July. After witnessing the children’s wonderful nurturing instincts during their ‘Chick Watch’ week earlier this year, our Nursery Team decided that they were ready to have some permanent furry friends to help care for.
Children (and staff!) not only enjoy lots of cuddles with the hairy duo, but they have also become experts in how to look after them. Colin and Martin are also incorporated into the children’s learning whenever possible. We are loving the artwork that the children have created to brighten up the piggies’ living quarters!
