“Mrs Bennell, Head of Sixth Form, reminded the Year 13s yesterday to take a balanced approach to their revision as they prepare for trial exams after half term. Clearly, a balanced approach between study and leisure is important to revise effectively. However, balance is integral to all aspects of life and central to wellbeing.

“Some of you will be advocates of Dr Rangan Chatterjee’s Four Pillars (Relax, Eat, Move and Sleep) which reminds us of this. I hope this half term break gives your sons and daughters an opportunity to recalibrate and that they use their time in a balanced manner, whether they are revising or enjoying a well-deserved holiday.

“Thank you to everyone involved in last night’s Instrumental Music Festival Finalists’ Concert. In the majestic setting of the South Transept of the Cathedral, some of King’s Ely Senior’s best musicians created a quite beautiful evening of music. It was a wonderful way to mark the end of this half term.”
