This week has been an incredibly cold but successful and action-packed week for King’s Ely Junior Sport!

Despite the bitter temperatures, strong winds and snow blizzards, pupils have continued to train and participate with admirable spirit and dedication.

Fixtures wise, on March 8th our U13A, U13B, U13C, U12B and U12C football teams won all of their fixtures against Bedford School (Prep).

On the same day, our U13A, U13B, U13C, U12A, U12B, U11A, U11B, U10A and U10B netball teams enjoyed competitive fixtures against St John’s College School, resulting in four wins, a draw, and four losses.

On March 7th, our U12A football team visited Chesterton Community College for their County Cup Semi Final. King’s won 3-2 on penalties, with Ralphie Rust making some outstanding saves to help send King’s through to the County Cup Final!

On March 3rd, our U11A, U11B, U11C, U11D, U10A and U10B netball teams had fixtures against St Mary’s School Cambridge, which resulted in five wins and a draw.

Well done everyone – it is fantastic to see you all achieving great results, and most importantly, enjoying your sports!
