OUR A Level Computer Science students attended the ‘Computer Science in Action’ event at London’s Emmanuel Centre on November 27th.

The group enjoyed a series of lectures on programs, software and data, including ‘How to use algorithms and software for animation’, ‘How robots work together to overcome difficulties’ and ‘Where the future in technology lies and its boundaries’.

Enrichment helps to place our pupils’ studies in a wider intellectual landscape. Enrichment opportunities in the Sixth Form include talks by visiting speakers, either to the whole Sixth Form or to smaller subject-specific academic societies, student-led discussion evenings, and visits and trips organised by academic departments.
