‘BOOKSHARE Afternoon’ at King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep is always a wonderful occasion and this year’s event just before half term was certainly no exception!

It has felt like a lifetime since we have been able to hold a Bookshare Afternoon due to the pandemic, so it was fantastic for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to welcome a parent, grandparent or carer into their classrooms to show them some of the learning and play adventures they have been enjoying.

Faye Fenton-Stone, Head of King’s Ely Acremont Pre-Prep, said: “It was a wonderful afternoon filled with smiles, happiness and above all pride. Half an academic year of learning awaited families as they sat on our small chairs in our classrooms, were treated to animated and detailed presentations of all areas of the curriculum and saw the wealth of learning, progress and joy that their child has experienced so far during this academic year. A joyous sight, from everyone’s perspective!”
