Our Year 8 students had their investigative skills put to the test when they had to try and solve a ‘murder’!

The Morbey Hall at King’s Ely Junior was a hive of forensic activity when the team from Thinkers in Education visited us shortly before the end of term.

Working in small groups, Year 8s donned their safety goggles to examine crime scene photos, analyse suspect’s blood, and conduct DNA fingerprints, all while working against the clock (and other teams!) to try and reveal the truth behind the ‘unexpected death’.

The CSI workshops were a fantastic way to complement our STEM Programme at King’s Ely Junior – thank you ‘Thinkers in Education’!
